About Me
A warm welcome to the NUMARU HEART SPACE, my dear!
🌞 I'm Sun Mee (she/her); I was 3 ½ years old when I was adopted from South Korea into a German family. I have a sister (biological to my adoptive parents) and am based in Berlin with my husband.
🍃 My upbringing in South Germany has strongly informed my search for identity and belonging. My struggles led me to explore my roots, personal values, and life purpose.
🌺 Opening up about my complex emotions, connecting to like-minded adoptees, and learning practical tools and alternative, holistic, and creative healing modalities allowed me to find a home within myself and turn my pain into purpose. Now, I'm helping fellow adoptees release identity shame, recaim their sense of self, and discover true belonging!
🎈During the pandemic, I followed my true calling and founded NUMARU—A SAFE COMMUNITY SPACE and HOLISTIC SUPPORT PROGRAM for BIPOC/TRA adoptees! I'm committed to curating a safe, unique space that invites joy, direct support, and collective growth! I'm excited to welcome you!
